duno if u know yingx, but the only thing singapore has been going on for the last few days is this dragon boat tragedy in cambodia which 5 members of our dragon boat team drowned. the press has been going crazy, and for the past 3 days, its been front page news.

i feel sadder than i expected. really, really sad. and i don't even know them! i feel myself tearing up everytime i read the news, and its like they're in my head the whole day. i can't imagine the pain their families and team mates go through. i asked mum what she'll do if that happens to me, and she said she'll faint and not eat for days.

i found 2 of their friendster profiles. i can't imagine that such promising young men are just gone like that. day by day, the "last seen" counter on their profile will increase and increase. and it'll be stagnant forever, never to be touched again. man. they were so cute too!! (ok, thats not the point, but i can't resist. :P) one of them is called reuben and he's like my dream guy man. athletic, 8pecs, tall, dark, handsome, and musically talented. ouch! my heart hurts............

and i guess the most painful thing is that everyone will forget in time to come. but no matter how much time passes, it will always be a painful memory for friends and loved ones.

yingx! why can't ure dad come back in feb? why can't YOU come back in feb with him?! i mean, hel-lo. you missed 2 days of school for new york! whats missing a week to come back home?! hmph!

lemme see.........mum woke us about 9+ this morning to go for a walk. walked to tanglin mall for mcdonalds breakfast. i ordered and omg the macs girl was sooooo incredibly STUPID i wanted to shake her and ask why she was so dumb. totally screwed up my order and i had to repeat myself like 3 times. in the end, the order was STILL wrong. dang. someone please get her a new brain. totally pissed me off man.

after that, walked back home and drove to the new house. due to the stupid workers who are so incredibly slow, they're only gona be able to give us the place at the end of jan. mind you, chinese new years eve is on 6th feb. so looks like we can't hold it and uncle patrick's got to do it again. dad said we can hold another housewarming party when uncle koon meng comes at the end of feb. damn it. was so looking forward to CNY. :(

came home later and then went to watch "Enchanted" with sis. i didn't expect to like it as much as i do. it was soooooooo damn funny!!! and cute, and sweet, and......ahhh!!! i like it so much! even sis was laughing. really good man. for a disney movie. gisele is sooooooooo pretty! and so cute! i LOVE her hair!! patrick dempsey isn't handsome, but he's charming. like a good guy. great movie and great songs. couldn't stop singing after that. haha!

after dinner, sis and i watched a rerun of "Friends". sis borrowed "The best of Chandler" and we were laughing our head off. really, no kidding. keep it up and i'll get abs. man! why can't they continue with Friends? everyone loves it! so sad it ended.

so when dad chased us out cos he wanted to sleep, i went to my room to get my pajamas. then i saw my clock. its only bleeding 8.20!!!! who the hell sleeps at 8.20? i thought my clock was wrong or something, until i went out to the hall to check, and lo and behold, it really WAS 8.20. whoopdedoo. i was shocked. dude, 8.20 is like AFTERNOON man! seesh.......

i gota warn you, it's gona be gross. so to keep reading, scroll down, if you really wanna know that is..........









































































i slammed the car door on my thumb.

omg i thought i would die. i was getting off the car to buy flowers for mum, and i don't remember anything much cos it all happened so fast. all i remember is seeing my thumb stcuk there and trying to pull it out, and a voice in my head said: "hurry up and open the door stupid!" so i did, and i went back in and saw a purple line across my nail, cos of the bleeding underneath the nail you see. mum was in shock too, going "aiyo!" like she always does. sis was pretty confused too. cos like i said, it all happened so fast, she thought it was my bag strap instead of live human tissue.

so we drove to a clinic, and it the car i thought i was gona get a heart attack and faint. i was going into shock mode i guess. felt giddy and wanted to puke and all. found out from the doctor later that it was normal reaction cos the pain was so intense. i was crying, but not so much of the pain, but because i was afriad there would be a fracture and i couldn't play piano again. omg if that happens, my life will be O-V-E-R.

so the doc gave me a painkiller jab and then we went to gleneagles for xray. we had to wait about half an hour for the results to come out, which led me to think that for those people who were in a much worse condition than me, they would have died of pain if they had to wait so long. yep. so luckily, no fracture, just very sore and bruised, so the doctor just drew the blood out from my thumb to save my nail. i was so paranoid that it would hurt, cos i don't think i would be able to take anymore pain in one day, but turns out i couldn't feel a thing. :P while walking back to the car, mum said she was really scared for me too. her legs felt wobbly. haha. i love my mummy. :D

so in a nutshell, apart from crying over piano, i must say i've been a very brave girl about the whole thing eh? yingx, tell your dad to be proud of me. :)

yep, thats all for me. now my thumb is bandaged and its like 3 to 4 times the size of a normal thumb. :( aahhh................my poor, poor thumb........

PSLE results came out yesterday. and the highest score has broken the record of 292 to become a bloody 294!!! AHHH!!!!!!! its a malay girl. shes freaking crazy man. how the hell do you get 294???!!! i can just say, "welcome to RJC". i mean, she's already going to rgs, and since it's IP, no olevels, shes through all the way to junior college. man, that's sick. anyway, brandon got his results. and sis said, he's probably the only one who won't get aunty poh lan calling him and asking for his results. sigh..........

today is a really "chocolaty" day for me. i just had belgiun chocolate ice cream, 2 pieces of dark chocolate, and i just finished watching a dvd called "Blood and Chocolate". hmmmm.............i always thought olivier martinez was more handsome than THAT. so not impressed man.

well, that's all for me. still can't decide which bed to get. i'm not that lucky to have such an exciting day and have hail stones rain down on me. haha. ok, i'm just joking yingx. :P bye!

there's this korean show called "the legend of jumong" that mum and i are watching. i really like it and i think the guy is quite cute, but you know how korean drama seriels are, its damn irritating! the good guy is forever being supressed and its super frustrating. you just want to jump into the tv and kill some people.

walked down to tanglin mall to have starbucks. i hate walking on the road near plants. always leaves me feeling itchy all over, and i get paranoid and think there are a whole lot of bugs on me. sis and dad were having a heated discussion over global warming, with sis saying that dad could do more to save the environment. and dad, with an ego the size of jupiter, just insisted that his way was right. sigh.........i personally support sis 100%. though shes still hypocritical to a certain extent cos she uses the com so often that its very bad for earth too. but the bottom line is, i tactfully stayed out of the discussion. never liked to get myself involved anyway. once sis starts, she never stops.

went to the curtain shop today to meet with the designer. i tell you, my room is going to be the ultimate PRINCESSY room! or, at least i think it will be........ :P i'm sooooooo excited!! i wouldn't want to get out of my room once i move in. :P

went to watch "Stardust" today. IT ROCKS MY SOCKS!!!! though i think robert de niro didn't get much screen time. but it was damn funny. imagine him in a dress!!! i wanted to roar with laughter. i can't wait for "The golden compass" and "I am Legend" to come out too. :) they look really good!!!

sis got her new fish today. she wanted to call it "roger", then dad said something like "what a fish!", say it fast and it becomes "wadafish". sis liked it so much that now it's called Roger Wadafish. don't ask me. i'm not the one with the screw lose.

watched this show called "The Party Never Stops: Diary of a Binge Drinker" by sara paxton. its a cliche kind of show about wild parties and alcohols in uni life. quite cliched actually. but i must say i liked sara in this show. though i was damn jealous of her last time cos she kissed jesse in "summerland". lol. shes actually quite pretty.

i wish i was born on the first week of january. so i'll be 18 faster and can learn to drive ASAP!!!! bloody hell, i need to be 18 (according to date of birth) in order just to get a bleeding provisional driving license. wth!!! i wonder if i can take my highway code now..........but i got a bad feeling i can't.

neopets sucks. i haven't been winning anything good from tombola and coltzan's shrine, and that stupid snow faerie keeps giving me ridiculously expensive quests! seesh!!

my very egoistic and narcisstic best friend, Lousia Shuwen Lin, wants me to blog 3 posts about her, because of my neglect the past few weeks. and this is the same girl, who doesn't even know WHERE my new house is, despite me telling her upteen times! she still thinks its at pasir panjang, which was like how many million years ago. then she went on to guess potong pasir and god knows where else. i was even half expecting pasir ris. *tsk tsk* someone just help me slap the girl. :P

Jack had died by the time i woke up this morning. yesterday he looked sooooo bad, with his gills like, spilling out or something. and he was swimming sideways already. it really broke my heart. when sis changed his water, she was also wondering to if she should perform mercy killing. cos Jack was really in pitiful condition. then mum said some prayers for him (with Ping An screaming in the background, of course) and then he passed away while we were asleep. now all we have is an empty tank. im sadder than i thought i would be. can't believe i feel so sad for a fish. and its not even mine for crying out loud. sis says shes gona get another fish. hmmmmm........

hs has been messaging me and trying to call me today and yesterday. but i refuse to talk to him. over the phone at least. cos i know he's gona ask me about exam results.........and i don't really wanna tell him. i feel so so bad, but.......sigh! he even asked why i wasn't answering him, and when he could talk to me, and all i wanna tell him is : "Don't."

stopped by the new house. mum's toilet tiles are up already! it looks really good! after that we went to this indian restaurant across the road for lunch. then as we were leaving, i saw this group of guys smoking. and looked even younger than me for christs sake! seesh! parental control please!!! don't get what's so cool about smoking. stinks like shit, and you pay so much to get yourself killed. why don't they just throw themselves off a building? whatsmore, it's free.

went to IMM for the first time in my life today. it was so damn big! tell me why we still need vivo city man. ok, i know some people will scoff at me cos they've been to IMM upteen times, and this is only my first. but dude, im an orchard road kid k? but it was surprisingly nice! mum and i went to see furniture and get ideas for the house.

sis and i watched "The Notebook" last night. i suddenly felt like watching it again, and sis is FINALLY watching it. she refused to watch it at first cos its a romantic chick flick, but she likes ryan gosling so she thought she'd give it a shot. I LOVE RYAN GOSLING!!! HE IS H-O-T!!! and a fantastic actor anyway. love love love Rachel Mcadams too!! she's my favourite! :D there's one scene near the end where the 2 of them are quarelling, and theres just so much, you know, feeling in that scene. it was very well portrayed. FANTASTIC. how on earth can actors put so much emotion into a scene like that, considering the director, cameras and makeup artists are all around them? it looks so real!! oh well, i guess thats why its hollywood. and sis liked it. HAH! :)

anyway, i finally got my BSB cd!!!! and as usual, BSB never fails to deliver. :) though kevin isn't singing anymore, well, i still love them. im listening to it on the com as i type this, and the sound system isnt that great. bleh. why did mum have to confiscate my stereo......hmph! it really takes a lot for me to buy a cd. im not as extravagant as last time. now a cd has to be exceptionally good for me to buy. the only 2 artists i support are BSB and jesse mccartney. cos i know they always produce good records.

when window shopping today with mum. we went to this curtain/upholstery shop and there's this really cool round bed. yes, its ROUND!! SO CUTE!!! and the thing i love most about it, is that its PRINCESSY!!!! i want!!!!!!!!!!!! the sales girl says the mattress makes it not really suitable for sleeping, more like a daybed. but i don't care. MAKE it suitable for sleeping then!! lol. ok im behaving like a spoilt brat. but it really WAS pretty!!!! and salesgirl was damn chio also. i kept starring at her shoes. :P her name is Ice. LOL. i was looking at the namecards on the counter and i saw hers, and i was about to comment to mum "who the hell calls themselves ICE??!!" but luckily my better judgement got hold of me and i didn't say anything, cos SHE was the one called Ice. seesh........theres no end to amusing names.

the world is so small - and getting smaller - so much so that its kinda freaking me out.

first lou told me to look joe up cos he was cute, and then i saw his girlfriend nicole. then i realised nicole and steffi were BEST FRIENDS now. and it's YINGXY'S steffi. i was like, whoa!!

now, i realised that peixi's tim is actually MY og tim. was going through her pics and it struck me as uncannily familiar. so i went on to friendster (these kind of people ALWAYS have friendster) and typed in his email address which is so remember-able (myplaygroundis@hotmail.com) LOL, and lol and behold, it really WAS my tim. whoopdedoo.

soon im gona realise that some other long lost friend is gona be with another long lost friend that i used to play marbles with in kindergarten. im telling you, its BOUND to happen in uni. you'll start seeing people you haven't seen for centuries cos they start popping up like daisies all over campus. then i'll be all shocked like, "omg, he/she has grown so big already!" or "you actually KNOW he/she? omg so DID i!" notice the keyword is "did".

went to 4c3's blog. no one has tagged since may. and the last entry was in may last year, or april. visited tess' blog for the first time in god knows when, and it hasnt changed one bit. :) she still has that pic of someone im still unsure if its a guy or girl. lol. some jap person la.

im feeling so nostalgic about 4c3'06.

i just saw a video on youtube that bertha posted up! omg i didn't know im on youtube!!! ahhh!!!!! it was about this newscasting thing that tess filmed with me, bertha and sakinah. OMG MY HAIR WAS SHIT UGLY!!!!! HOW ON EARTH DID I EVER WALK OUT OF THE HOUSE LIKE THAT?!! im gona sue my hairdresser.............AHHHH!!!!!!

ive been trying to find our 4c3 class blog on google but i can't find it! oh no! has it been removed. also visited bertha's blog. and her last post was on our class gathering way back on april 15. man! she really didnt touch her blog for that long?!!

yesterday was class chalet. and it was fun, fun fun!!!!!! :) it breaks my heart just thinking about leaving the class next year.

lets see......erm........i went to the chalet with yvonne and valerie. val's dad fetched us there. then wei shi came next, (who brought all the horror shows like saw, final destination, slither and scary movie, which is actually isn't scary la) followed by jiefu. oh gosh the chalet was TERRIBLE!!!!! ok, it was big, but the toilets were absolutely REVOLTING (there was a huge spider in one), the paint on the walls were peeling, and it was ant and mosquito infested. YUCK. i was donating blood man. and they only provided us 7 free hours of aircon. so stingy!! that means, if we were to wake up at 7am the next day, we can only turn on the aircon at 12 midnight! madness........but then again, its always the people who make the chalet fun. we played mahjong and blackjack. I GOT DOUBLE ACE!! WHOOOOO!!!!! :D then kaiyi and zak were so sweet. they baked me cookies and put them in this really nice container from Ikea. and kaiyi wrote me this really sweet card, which i read over and over again, leaving me to smile like an idiot everytime. lol. and the 3 of us ended up watching 'scary movie' on this tiny portable dvd player and laughing like crazy. :P oh ya!! when we were about to have dinner, we were wondering why most of the girls were upstairs. so wei shi said that anita was bathing and the toilet door lock was spoilt. so yixin, (her bf) was guarding the door, and the girls were guarding yixin!! omg i was laughing like a maniac when i heard it. yea........then valerie got reallt pissed at canadian pizza who got the order wrong. they provided horrible customer service anyway. and then we celebrated the october and november babies' birthdays! it was a WHITE CHOCOLATE BLUEBERRY CHEESECAKE!!! it was GOOOOOOOODDDDD................. haha! and when liu yang and i had to leave cos we weren't staying over, a whole group of my friends walked us out and we were playing games at the bus stop, and basically having the time of our lives. i wished time could have stopped there and then. i hope bon uploads the pics soon!

then while on the bus, i met yen kwun jiejie's friend! such a small world! turned out yenkwun jiejie was sick so her friend sent her home. i was so embarrassed that her friend knew my name but i didn't know hers, so i just called her 'jiejie'. lol.......must remember to ask yen kwun jiejie next time. :P

yep, i only reached home at 11+ and went to sleep at 12+. tiring day man, which explains my whole lot of yawning today. whatsmore, had to wake up early to send dad to airport. *yawnzzz* i think mum is planning to go bangkok next week!! :D

i think yingxy isn't coming online nowadays cos aunty allyson and yangx are there.......hmmm............

all my friends really want me to come to the chalet. im so touched. :) can tell how much i mean to my class, in errr......about my 8 month long time knowing them. really really touched. :)

finished reading "mao's last dancer". it's fantastic. yingx, GO READ IT. its an ORDER. i love reading autobiographies cos when you read it, it feels like you're walking down memory lane with the author. super nostalgic. next time i'll become someone famous and i'll write my own autobiography. :D LOL!!!

watched "The Seeker: the dark is rising" today. didn't have much clue what was going on. :/ what a disappointment!! well i suppose if you've watched harry potter, lord of the rings blah blah, not many things can match up.

thats all for me today. ive got a whole lot of activities lined up the next few days. tmr ming te wants to go kbox, sunday im going out with valerie, and monday to tuesday is class chalet, which i havent mustered up my courage to ask mum to allow me to go. seesh............
