It's times like these that I wish I didn't grow up, because if I was young I wouldn't understand anything. As dad expected, granny has cancer. It just breaks my heart. She doesn't know, however, so I can't cry in front of her. What hurts the most is thinking of the pain she must suffer when she undergoes treatment. dad said what his mother went through was similar, that the medicine she took gave her constipation. it was so bad that they had to go to the hospital to have the doctor suck the faeces out of her. oh god.....I can't imagine granny having to go through all that. she's so old.....why must this happen to her? i seriously wish I could bear the pain for her. all of it. at least I'm young and I can bear the pain better........oh god help us........

*wipes tears from eyes* sigh.......on a lighter note, I got my new phone today!! nokia N73. I initially wanted the N91, but the salesguy said the hardware crashes easily. cos i has like, 4 gigs(I have a feeling I spelt it wrong) and it's basically alot of hardware cramped into one small device. so it can crash after like, after 5 songs and you must upload again. so DON'T BUY NOKIA N91!!! even though it's sooooo pretty!!! daddy spent almost 600 bucks on my phone today, $598 to be exact. I LOVE YOU DADDY!!! I'll always be your baby girl!! *muacks* daddy loves me so much!! XDXDXD.

what a day filled with rollercoaster emotions. I have like, 33 days left to olevels. DIE!!! okok, from tmr onwards, I'm gona study like there's no tmr (literally). and this time, I mean it.

I am absolutely exhausted. school finished at 3.30pm today. normal school time, yes, but I'm not used to it anymore. two weeks of prelims and 1 week of playing. I'm telling u, getting back into work mode is Painful!!! (notice the capital 'P')

went through the answers for bio, chem and amath. and for ALL 3 subjects, the teachers said we did badly. joy. i'm expecting more bad news and results are on wednesday. i flunked my bio, and don't let me get started on chem. I was practically sleeping throughout mrs chia's explanaton. couldn't help it, i was too tired. not that I remebered what I wrote anyway. and of course I failed my MCQ. amath was boring. I seriously can't remember what I've written, but the answers do not look familiar. which means I probably didn't get it right. *pats self on back* well done, pei hua. u've done excellent for prelims......

dad says the liquid in grandma's lungs is not a good colour and there's blood in it. apparently it's the same colour as my other grandma's when she died of cancer last time. please.....don't let granny leave us so soon......*sobs* went to see her yesterday at the hospital. she looked so small and weak lying in bed. I wanted to hug her so much. I felt quite irritated with my aunts for their loud talking and noisy handphones. i mean.....geez!! it's a bloody hospital for pete's sake!! and granny needs rest!! I'm telling you, my mum's side of the family is a real uncouth lot. I really don't mix well with them.

I'm praying granny gets well soon. if she dies, I can already see my mum's siblings fighting over granny's possessions. ugh! like those typical channel 8 dramma serials. yuck. but it's true. I hope granny has a will. I'm sure mum doesn't want a cent from granny, she's the best child granny has. the rest are, well.....useless. only third aunt is in france, so she can't really do anything. I know who the money-suckers are, and I'm sure sis knows too.......

today was Boring with a capital "B". and guess what. i was right!! 6 of my friends skipped school, namely ethel, siti, sumin (2 days alr!!), tess, sak, rachel. they left me and julie all alone!! well, at least we had each other, cos flo and sha had art. but then again, the interhouse games was BLAH, but Fry still won 3rd place!! I hated the games man.....damn lame sia...

then we had the njc and acjc talks. seniors from both schools came back. njc totally paled in comparison to acjc. acjc's campus is soooo impressive!! i bet the guys are hotter. :P olympic-size pool, performing arts centre.......etc, and basically the school building is relatively new. don't think I can say the same for njc. and acjc has nice uniform. not that njc is ugly, it's just........different. unique. haha. but COUNTLESS people want to go to acjc, which means competition is tougher than tough. *inhales deeply* oh. my. god. what am I going to do????!!!!!

went for chem tuition. *sobs* soooo not in the mood man. i found out that jagjeet and nicole had 12 and 13 points respectively for prelims. and they're BOTH going to acjc. nicole got in through DSA cos she's in debate. and she scored a FREAKING A1 for english. WITHOUT MODERATION. omg...i mean....how do you do that?? this, my friends, is the reason why I can't get into a JC. sad, but it's the inevitable truth. uncle koon meng leaving tmr, 6am. the next time I see him is 2008. *bawls eyes out* apparently, prelim results out next wednesday. I think I better buy insurance....cos I'm gona have heart attack and my parents will kill me. no pressure eh? back to work mode tmr.....i can hardly wait.......:(

today was boring. not as fun as i expected. one new thing I learnt today? I NEVER KNEW I COULD GET TIRED BY SITTING DOWN. seriously, no kidding. i was aching and yawning the whole day. it was actually a RELIEF to stand up. started off the day with the sajc talk. not bad, but i'm not going there. why? 1) too far 2) mum dont want. next, we had the hwa chong institution talk. nice, but totally redundant. cos the people who manage to go there are so little, most of us give up before even trying. the speaker still said: "give hwa chong a chance." *jaw drops* shouldn't it be the other way around? give US a chance more like!! i mean, i REALLY DON'T MIND going to hci u noe....:P it's whether you want me or not.

then we had the sex-ed talk. we had to watch this LAME video, where the girls are ugly and the boys r shit. (no offence to boys who read this. but you should have seen it. it was revolting) it was actually PAINFUL to watch. i mean, dude. i can make a better sex-ed video with my GRANDMA. then we had all the cliche talks telling us to say 'no', and basically stuff we already know. and i started getting curious about how sex-ed for guys is like. so I turned to a 'reliable' source, and it sounds way more fun than ours. :P okok....shan't get into the gory details........: )

then it was the ACS(International) talk on IB. it was the nicest one and the speaker was this British guy with a huge white beard, a black ponytail and a paunch. omg....so cute!! like those typical british grandpas. omg...he was so funny. witty and a fantasitc speaker i should say. I'm not biased just because he's english, but he really WAS good. then you have the catch. the school fees are........*drumroll*.......S$1500 A MONTH!! that makes it.....*punches calculator*.....S$18000 A YEAR!! omg, i can forget about eating or going out la!! forget it......

going out for dinner with yingx and yangx later!! can't wait! haha. i think all my friends are 'ponning' school. they're going to leave me alone! *sobs* till tmr!

the most important lesson I learnt today: if you score well, be a scholar. If you don't score well, be a entreprenuer and make the scholars work for you. :P

we had ' lady in me' day today. we had to wear formal office clothes and everybody looked so mature and pretty!!! I'm telling you, the moment u hit 16, (for girls, i duno abt boys) your body changes and u start to look REALLY mature. dont ask me why, it'a my observation. started out the day admiring everyone's clothes......well, can't help it. we ARE girls. :P ETHEL HOON LOOKED GORGEOUS!!!! OMG!! SHE IS SOOOOO PRETTAAAAAAAAAAY!!! i'm telling you, she's one SEXY LADY!! :P. go see how she looks like on her blog. she's bound to put the pics up. i think ethel and sam looked really good; ethel was more casual whilst sam was more formal. then we went to see how bertha and jeanette looked like. of cos, no skirts. but J wore RED!!!! omg......it's a moment to note down in history man.......for once she didnt wear all black, though her pants still were. oh man.....old habits die hard....:P bertha was worse. she wore juz black slacks and a green 3/4-sleeve top. i mean, BERTHA!! it's LADY-in-me day?? show the feminine side for once man!! and it turned out that both of them DID NOT go shopping...(big shocker there) instead they went to play "house of the dead" -_-" talk abt priorities......*shakes head and sighs*

so basically we had a few career which were kinda boring....then during break time we went CAMWHORING!!! no, it was NOT my idea. i would never initiate it. but can i help it if all my friends love taking photos of themselves?? esp ethel hoon. that girl should have her cam glued to her man. the last talk of the day was grooming and social etiquette. i'm telling you, being a lady is HARD!! did you know there are different ways for a lady to walk up steps? like tilting your foot to a 60 degree angle and all that crap. i mean, DUDE!! it's only steps!! but it was easily the most entertaining talk though it was quite long. the speaker is JILL LOWE. does the name look familiar?? :P they're like image consultants. she was the one who taught us the above lesson; the one on scholars and entreprenuers. haha....she is one funky lady....:P

tmr we have sex-ed and the jc talks!! can't wait!! yay!! yea...i like those talks. :) till tmr's post then..........ciao!

no school today. yahoooo!!!!! cos other ppl are having chinese and higher chinese prelims. i'm so glad i'm not in that league :P i had emath tuition *yawns* and ms teo was going on about how bad the government is. she's been talking about it since LAST WEEK! i'm telling you, with "kou cai" like hers, we're gona vote her for the next MP. :P sigh!! I'm gona miss Aprime when i graduate......so many things change when u graduate from sec 4 eh?

talking abt changes......tmr is going to be a really intersting day!! its "lady in me" day, aka "career seminar". so all sec 4s are supposed to dress up in FORMAL OFFICE WEAR. i had to go shopping today just to get clothes!!! geez......and i'm actually shopping for stuff i don't really like. I'm gona feel like a grandma tmr instead of a 16 year old. but the exciting things tmr is we get to see BERTHA and JEANETTE in office wear!! *squeals!* omg.....i can't wait! the 2 of them are supposedly going shopping together and OF COS they WONT wear skirts ( more's the pity) but the thing is, 2 FASHION-HOPELESS people like themselves are going shopping TOGETHER. which means it's like blind leading the blind. they're gona turn up tmr looking like Neo and agent smith man...........i gota rmb to bring camera tmr........

i think this year's post-prelim activities are quite nice.....we have all the JC talks. we get to hear them ramble on and on to tell us why their jc is the best, and all that stuff. i LIKE attending this kind of talks actually. i find them really intriguing. u get motivated and all.....but it's a different thing all together when you get down to it. :P ooooh well.....look forward to my pretty pictures! can u believe it? i'm actually quite excited abt sch tmr. wonders never cease to exist, do they? :)

today, i'm gona go against what I said abt long posts, cos today is really worth reading about. 3 words to describe today: WHAT A BLAST!!!!! started the day with amath tuition ( ok, dats boring) then my 'BEST FRIEND' BAILED on me. for 2 CONSECUTIVE WEEKS she pulled out of our outing. so i DO have a reason to be pissed. went home after tuition and slept for 3 hrs, then went to yingx's and yangs's house. now this is where the fun starts.........:P

started out with dinner around the telly and hung out with ah mui jiejie and the gang. i'm telling u, ah mui jiejie is one of the funniest people alive. n she makes one funky mom......timmy is also quite the ladies' man, considering he's only like what.....3 yrs old?? oh man.....do they start young these days.....:P and ahmui jiejie said he went to the barber and he went " don't use the 'zzzzzzng'" he meant to say don't use the electric razor, but of cos he doesn't know what it is called cos he's only 3. so he juz made the sound effects. DAMN CUTE RITE? omg, i was laughing SO hard man..............:P

then sufei came!! when sufei comes, it means it's really gona be a nite of laughter. started out with playing.........CRASH TEAM RACING!!! (what else? :P) sufei lost 11 consecutive times and won once. we were all cheering SO HARD when she won that 1 lap, and it was I who lost that one. yes, a bit malu, but then sufei was juz holding down the accelerator!! yingx and yangx were doing all the manouvering.....so it's not really fair. and vivek and sufei DID break up. so sad.....but nvm....a better guy will come.....

then we all went to play TABLESOCCER!!! aka foozeball..... i won like......6 consecutive games!! yahoo......yo, u gota admit, i AM a good goalie......:P sis and i were invincible. then wenyang made this funny noise n sufei nicknamed him 'furball'. hilarious!!! n we started taking photos.....so many i don't think it's possible to count. we did the 'many arms' shot, the 'winners' shot (n i was in every one :P) n the 'losers' shot. oh man.....it was SO FUN!!! i haven't laughed so hard in a long time. my cheeks felt SORE man!! lactic acid build up la......i was straining my cheek muscles :P

oh, and let me tell u sufei's story behind her wolverine scars. (she's gona kill me) basically, she was playing 'dog and bone' with a twist, during her university orientation and basically this girl scratched her across the face while trying to burst the balloon attached to her arm. then the orientation leader made the whole team line up and chant: 'sorry sufei' like primary school kids. can you imagine grown adults doing that??!!! oh man....that scene should go on youtube :P then the red cross team came along and applied this yellow ointment which made her look like a red indian. and she only found this out AFTER walking round the whole sch. *roars with laughter* then apperently, she had to take a bus to the hospital and she had to explain the WHOLE THING to the doctor. i mean.....how do u explain to the doc that u got hurt through 'dog and bone'?? then the doc said: "aiya....u don't have to make up stories. juz say catfight la!" OMG....i couldnt stop laughing man.....that doc is kinda funky thou....u gota admit. then basically the story got around that this girl got injured bcos of a catfight and her friend told her one day: "did u noe during orientation that this girl in the arts faculty had a huge BIRTHMARK across her face?" and sufz went like......"err.....ok. that's me" that really shut the guy up man. became sympathatic and all and saying her face looked ok.....so what's the moral of the story? NEVER MAKE UP RUMOURS. U NEVER KNOW HOW THEY WOULD BE CHANGED ALONG THE WAY. i mean.....from SCAR to BIRTHMARK??!! man!! that is WAY off!! :P

oh man....this is one LOOOOOONG post!! but it's worth it!! i wish i could describe the events more vividly. basically, I LOVE U SUFEI!! *MUACKS!!!* geez.....i better stop here. adios folks!!

yingx asked me why i chose that song to put on my blog. well, my answer is because the lyrics are so real. i mean, it sounds like it really comes from the heart and it's something we can relate to. not that i have ever encountered something like that, thank god. cos i can NEVER, EVER imagine kissing sam. yuck man.....it's like fear factor: gross out episode. not that he isn't cute, but i honestly can't rmb how the dude looks like. n lou and i have vastly different tastes in guys......

went to the club for tennis lesson and miaoqun went swimming. she swam like.....60 over laps in 1 hr. and it isn't a small pool. well, she IS the athlete! (say that in 'the game of life' voice :P i think sis, yingx and yangx noe what i'm talking abt. haha) then we went to shower and I learned stuff i never knew abt ***** ****. of cos i'm not revealing the person's name here. cos it's none of your business :P

after that, i went for lunch at fish & co. with yingx. we were so GOD DAMN full!!! next time, we're gonna eat at sakae sushi. yingx told me some really personal stuff......i'm telling you, aunty allyson is the luckiest woman alive to have a daughter like her. i hope MY daughter would be like yingx when she grows up. we went shopping for formal office wear for the 'lady in me' day. i don't even NOE what is counted formal man.....found a pair of pants at marks and spencer and saw a skirt at mango. I WANT!! i tell u, yingx is the most unlikely, but BEST shopping companion ever. y? cos she doesnt buy and she helps me get all my sizes. :P and she has all the discount coupons. she gave me a 30% discount borders voucher so my book which cost $17.95 went down to $12+. not bad eh?

mum fetched us home later. ooooohhh..........my feet are aching!! *moans* going to the lawyer's office later because someone is sueing me for robbery and cold-blooded murder. police also found traces of evidence that i have been in contact with VERY BAD people. n if u belief what i've just written, you are a dodo-bird. :p haha!! we're gona collect the keys to our new house. look forward to my house warming next year!!

I WOULD LIKE TO ANNOUNCE THE OFFICIAL OPENING OF MY BLOG!!!! YAHOOOOO!!!! *cuts red ribbon and pops champagne* haha........firstly, i would like to thank my sister for her generous help, cos without her, this blog would have taken eons to see the light of day. Or should I say.....it would never exist in the first place. though i still have some minor changes left to do to it, nvm......it'll do it bit by bit. can't help it that i'm a COMPLETE IDIOT at computers. don't even know what URL is man........(pls try to restrain from gasping in disbelief)

ok, i'm gonna keep it short cos i hate reading long posts........it's super straining on the eye......lets not let the PAP's 'keep your eyes healthy' go down the drain. today is SUPER FUN, except for mrs tan's chem tuition. don't get me wrong, i love mrs tan. it's chem that puts me off. cos dude, it's chem. need i say more? and today is LAST day of prelims!!! can't believe time passes soooo fast......juz last week i was mugging away.....

today the whole clique, namely sak, julie, marsha, floren, sumin and tess came over......together with bertha and miaoqun. MQ that crazy girl.....called me last night just to ask me if i was having a sleepover....haha.....we played mahjong like siao man!!! even MARSHA was sick of it. yup....we played till that extent :P everyone except bertha had dinner at my house....and i was torturing sumin with my "can see can smell can't eat" policy. haha!! and tess was SOOO funny!! she actually took me seriously when I said she couldn't eat. haha....her expression? PRICELESS! :p then mq, julie, sha n floren are sleeping over!! haha.....sha and flo r pretty bummed out right now, whilst julie and mq are watching "big fat liar".....

seesh....i'm supposed to keep this short aren't I? yaya.....better stop. got TENNIS tmr!! tennis is my life man......i wish I can go back in time and start when I was younger. and not waste my time on piano. i mean, i DO like piano....to a certain extent. probably cos i've come so far already and I'll miss it not becos i LIKE it, but cos i'm used to having it in my life. fine, I'm shutting up now. thanks for taking the time to read!
