i screwed up my interview. i'm sad. :(

i feel soooooooo infintely stupid. i went to my interview and the dentist asked me my expected salary. I HAD NO IDEA WHAT THE MARKET RATE WAS. so i just quoted the first answer that came to my head: "30 bucks and hour" and oh my god, it was WAAAAAYY above the market rate of $7/hr. i defintely won't get it la......the dentist must be laughing at me right now. he just said: "i'll call you if you get shortlisted." which means, according to dad, i won't get it already. they're just being nice. and i'm so sad cos i actually wanted the job very much. the environment was nice, the clinic was really quite pretty, and the working hours suited me so well! work in the evenings, which are good for me and i only work 3 days a week. i'm so dejected, i feel like crying.

looks like it takes much more than a Lim smile to land a job yingx. i'm going for another interview later. working at a dvd store near school. but i really wanted that dental job.......sigh.... :(
