just finished my second day of work attachment at the national dental centres. omg it was sooooooooooo boring today!!!!!!!!! i nearly slept on my feet. we were basically stoning there watching the dentists do their work, and we didn't have anywhere to sit. so i was standing for like, 4 hours straight. my feet hurt like shit now. i know i can never be a salesgirl. at least yesterday was more fun. we went to the surgery ward!!! as in, INSIDE the surgery ward, beside the surgeon, peering into the patients mouth and watching the blood squirt all over. they were doing wisdom tooth surgery, the most common of all surgeries for the dental department. they were removing all 4 at 1 time, which is super painful so patients have to be put under GA, that means the patient is asleep. and they all have tubes stuck down their throats from their nose to help them breathe. the thought is actually pretty gross. and stiching up the patient is errr.........lol. duno what word to use. 'gross' is a bit too strong, but i know mum will faint seeing it. i'm NEVER going for wisdom tooth surgery. after seeing what goes on behind-the-scenes, no way jose. for those who DO plan to go, hahahahaha...............ignorance is bliss. *evil grin*

yea. so tmr is last day of attachment. quite happy about that. i've been waking up at 6.30am the past 2 days during the holidays. 3 days is more than enough. sis was laughing like a maniac when i told her about a woman yesterday who was afraid of getting her tooth extracted. haha. yes it was quite funny la. sis was like, whoa, rolling on the floor and laughing. lol. she's crazy la.

so anyway, she's taking the midnight flight to the UK. i'm super jealous. hmph! and mum is gona drag me along, by hook or by crook, even though i've got wake up early tmr. god i'm so dead.
