thanks to my sister, my new blogskin has been successfully fine-tuned. hope y'all like it!! psssst.....I felt obliged to give her the Death Note 2 poster. no free lunch in this world eh? :P

so since it's past midnight, I have to talk about yesterday. so YESTERDAY, I went out with Sam, for a whole 7.5 hrs!!! we're good. Sam's an awesome shopping partner. :P met at 11am at lido, and we walked the entire Orchard Road. luckily not to Plaza sing yet or my legs would have given way. oh by the way, we walked IN the shopping centres too. we visited shaw house, wisma, taka, paragon, heeren, orchard emerald and centrepoint. hmmm......come to think of it, we didn't go to orchard cineleisure. ahh wells, nothing much to buy there anyway.

our shopping spree was really successful!! I'm really happy. I got stuff at really great prices!! it's the first time I got this much stuff under a hundred bucks. budget shopping can be kinda fun. So we kicked off the day by walking around until about 12 noon and went to Sushi Tei at taka for lunch. I really like that outlet. I think the whole architecture of the place is so unique. before lunch I didn't dare to spend anything!! cos I was afraid I wouldn't be able to pay for my lunch. my lunch turned out to be nothing but salmon sashimi. I had 2 plates off the conveyer belt and 1 plate of coral rolls - sushi wrapped in salmon sashimi with cucumber and fish eggs on top. yum yum. spent about S$25.

went to heeren and I got this really pretty white bag with the shapes of turquoise coconut trees and the sea with the word "ripcurl" across it. guess how much? S$12.90. can you believe it??!! I expected something as pretty as it would cost at least 20 bucks. Sam also bought a small makeup bag from Flash 'N' Splash for guess what? S$2. our jaws nearly dropped. she even asked me to help her check with the salesgirl if it was really 2 bucks cos we didn't believe it. haha. so it's really good buys for both of us! got Jojo's "the high road" album from HMV for only S$11.95. amazing eh? I really didn't plan to get it, but since it's so cheap.......and I don't mind Jojo. and there's really nothing special about vanessa hudgen's album. totally teeny-bopper kind with no catchy tunes. I think that girl is pretty, can sing, but totally overated.

so I got my FIRST magazine, the one with Eragon on the cover. omg Ed Speelers is sooooo HOT!!!! AHHH!!!!!! haha. I can't wait for Eragon to come out. I'm watching it with Lou and Jeanette. can't believe sis is not very keen in watching it. so after that, we continued around heeren and stopped by this shop which I've walked past many times but never really paid any attention too. It's got really cool stuff!! and some awesome shirts and bags. So I bought my second bag of the day. it has a pattern of a ship on it, like the ones you see in Pirates of the Carribean. funky!! next time I'll get the matching shirt. only S$22 by the way. I expected much more. I actually had a hard time deciding on which design to get that we walked to Orchard Emerald for Sam to get her corn soup from Mos Burger while I pondered on which one to get. I think the lady thought we were crazy, coming and going again. but she was really nice. she'll have more business from me in the future. :P

lastly we went to centrepoint to show Sam the most gorgeous shoe I have seen in my life. and after that, we were basically dead and just sat down on a bench to talk. honestly, I would have never thought I would come out with Sam like this. I've only done it with Lou and Jing Yi. I definately hope this outing won't be the last. I LOVE MY SAMMY THE DOLPHIN!! haha.

we parted ways at about 6.30pm and went to see granny in the hospital. I think her condition was quite bad today as she had a fever and she was shivering really bad. I was a bit scared seeing her like that. and I was soooo tired. we finally went home at 9.30pm and I realised I had not seen Ping An for 10 hrs today. by the time I bathed and everything it was 11pm. and here I am typing my post. : )

leaving for vietnam tomrrow. haha. I know sis is totally dreading it. sry sis! so i'll see you guys on the 14th!! to Sam: love ya loads darling!! :P
