I thought I better blog before the clocks strikes 12. so i will be blogging on 5 Dec instead of 6.

so after the whole Bali fiesta yesterday, guess where we are going. HO CHI MINH CITY, VIETNAM. aka Saigon. whoa lao, damn weird sia. let me tell you what happened yesterday. so after we came home from watching Flags of our fathers, my mum and I started checking for things to do in Shanghai. we thought we'd go to Shanghai instead, which is a 5 hour flight and makes our business class ticket more worthwhile. so we emailed several hotels and checked out tourist hot spots, but when it came to booking the tickets, THEY HAD NO RETURN FLIGHT SEATS LEFT. I tell you, i nearly DIED. I wanted to call my lawyer and sue SIA for cheating my feelings and wasting my several hours of hard work, only to realise I don't have a lawyer. -_-"

so mum and I went to the SIA webpage and basically searched almost every location not in the west that SQ flies to. we checked adelaide, osaka, tokyo, hong kong, beijing.........we were like 2 despos frantically finding someplace to go to get out of Singapore. much to my sis's displeasure no less, cos we were disturbing her sleep by using the com in her room. SRY SIS!! :P so we finally found ho chi minh, and honestly I wasn't very keen. so my mum said we will discuss with dad in the morning. by the time I got to bed was almost 2am and I was sore all over. even when I entered dreamland, I dreamt of missing my bali trip you know!! yes, I was THAT depressed.

so I woke up this morning to the news from my dad that they had booked the tickets to ho chi minh city. i was like..........ooookaayyy.........fine. Not exactly my dream destination compared to shanghai, bali and adelaide. but no choice, since the tickets are booked. maybe I should have checked the Maldives?? but too far la......so I went to watch Step Up for second time cos my mum wanted to watch and my dad was practically forced into it. for some reason I wasn't in the mood for Open Season. and after we came home, we spent the whole days searching hotels and hot shopping spots in Vietnam. tiring tiring......I'm really looking forward to see what kind of shopping they have there. If it's like another bangkok, I'm SO not impressed. In fact I'd be disappointed. another bad thing is there are loads of pickpockets in Ho Chi Minh City, which scares the hell out of me.

maybe we should have spent this year's vacation in singpore? I don't know. I sure hope it's not a wrong decision.
